Privacy Policy

How Over the Fold collects, uses and protects your information.

Effective date: September 10, 2026

Over the Fold, LLC (“Over the Fold,” “we,” “us”) builds websites and runs marketing for service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit overthefold.com or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

It covers our own website and our own communications. When we build or run a website, CRM or campaign for a client, that client’s privacy policy governs how their customers’ information is handled, and we process that information only on the client’s instructions.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, book a call, request an audit, or email, call or text us, we collect what you choose to share, such as:

  • your name, email address and phone number
  • your business name and website address
  • what you are interested in and anything you write in a message
  • details you share during a call or a project, such as content or account access you send us for your website

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical data for each visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
  • Cookies. Our site sets one essential session cookie so it works properly. It does not follow you to other websites, and it ends when you close your browser. Our form provider may set its own cookies when a form loads, and embedded video players (YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and Vimeo) may set cookies if you play a video.
  • Third-party files. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and a scrolling script from the unpkg content network. Those services receive your IP address when your browser requests the files.

We do not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting or analytics tracking on this website. If we add analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, we will update this policy.

How we use your information

  • to reply to you and schedule calls, audits and meetings
  • to prepare proposals and deliver the services you hire us for
  • to send follow-ups, appointment reminders and project updates by email, phone or text message
  • to send occasional marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
  • to maintain, secure and improve our website
  • to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, projects and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies’ advertising. We share it only:

  • With service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (Hostinger), our CRM, forms and messaging platform (HighLevel / LeadConnector), and our email provider. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
  • At your direction, for example with a partner you ask us to work with on your project.
  • For legal reasons, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
  • In a business transfer, if Over the Fold is merged, sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, taxes and legal claims. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

How we protect it

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, and we limit access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correction and deletion. Email us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
  • Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP.
  • Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can still browse the site.

Depending on where you live, including New Jersey, California and other states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know, correct or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses of it. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, and we will not treat you differently for making one. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as client sites, review platforms and social profiles. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
